The Visual Arts Society

Sticks & Stones is hosting a very special event this Saturday, May 9th, from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM, in conjunction with The Visual Arts Society and The Queens Botanical Park. The Visual Arts Society is offering a chance to meet featured artists Avril Ward, John Broad, Dora Williams, Cecilia Urdaneta, and Maureen Lazarus. Discuss their work, observe their creative work, and mingle among others who appreciate great artwork. All the artwork displayed will be offered for sale.

The Queens Botanical Park will have a wide collection of their exceptional indigenous plants for sale. Where else can you buy botanical plants in the heart of George Town?

Needless to say, there is the usual spectacular collection of stunning indoor and outdoor furniture, selected from all over the globe. The Sticks & Stones Collection is worthy of a trip on any Saturday. This Saturday, May 9th will be a day to enjoy beautiful art, wondrous tropical plants, and talented artists. See you there!

Getting there is easy: take North Sound Road just past the Butterfield roundabout towards CUC. Once you pass the CUC main office on your left and the Conch Shell House on your right, take a right hand turn onto Kingbird Drive. Follow Kingbird Drive all the way down past the warehouses and look for the Sticks & Stones flags.
