The first time I wandered into Funky Monkey, I nearly threw myself at the feet of the owner and wept with gratitude. Finally, a smashing active wear store right here in Grand Cayman! This chic boutique is fabulous enough for South Beach. Located in gorgeous Governors Square, Funky Monkey has an exquisite collection of work out gear, casual wear, beach cover ups, bathing suits and accessories. I have yet to visit Funky Monkey without falling in love with something I didn’t know I needed. This week the object of my affections is a groovy summer bag. Vega bags are hand crafted in Medillin, Columbia. No two are alike. The bags are the perfect size for a kicked-back island weekend.
