Are you sick of the having frizzy hair? The solution isn’t torturing your hair with a flat iron or slathering on heavy products. There is a fabulous treatment available at Artista salon that will give you a long-lasting solution to problem hair: Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy by Coppola. It’s an amazing treatment that last for months, and gives you “easy care hair” that styles in minutes! There are two versions: the de-frizz version, or the version that also straightens hair. An exotic new spa & day salon has opened in Grand Cayman: Touch of Thai Day Spa & Salon on West Bay Road. Located right in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach district, across from Eduardo’s in the new Park Place building , Touch of Thai is a glamorous addition to the spa scene here in Cayman.

The Staff

The eastern-influenced decor is evident in the large, airy spa & salon. Ample parking awaits guests to the luxurious salon and a warm welcome from multiple staff members was the first thing I noticed when I walked in for my recent pedicure. I was offered a refreshment, magazines, and was introduced immediately to the young lady who was doing my spa service. The express pedicure I chose was a 30 minute Bangkok Express Pedicure (CI $40.00) which included a quicker yet luxurious version of a full spa pedicure; it was wonderful! I walked out a half hour later feeling refreshed with beautiful feet and a chic pedicure. The spa uses an organic line of products that I really enjoyed. Next time, I will make time for the full Bangkok Lalana Pedicure (CI $52.00) which promises to be an amazing treat.
